Usage of SigFit (check FAQs)

When emailing technical support please provide the following information:

  1. The SigFit version, operating system, and platform.
  2. A description of the problem or question including figures or text of error messages.
  3. If you are able to send files for Sigmadyne to duplicate a problem please send:
    (1) your .sig file and,
    (2) the files as shown in the table below.
FEA Software Files to Include (If Possible)
NASTRAN input file of model and .pch file of results
ANSYS Mechanical APDL .inp input file written by ANSYS during model execution and .asig file written by SigFit macro
ANSYS Workbench .wbpz archive file created by File/Archive… in the main Workbench application
SIMULIA/Abaqus .odb file written by Abaqus and the version number of Abaqus used to write it
